Loans Management System

Client: Lendford Limited

Lendford’s Loan Management System is a web-based platform developed with Yii2 and MySQL to support collateral-based lending across multiple branches. It centralizes client information, loan processing, collateral management, repayments, financial accounts, and staff oversight, giving management a consistent view of daily operations.

The system manages the lending process from client registration and loan application through approval, disbursement, repayment, and settlement. Applications are linked to the client’s collateral, with approval dependent on confirmation that the collateral is in Lendford’s possession. Branch-level custody records help staff track where pledged assets are held, while proof of payment supports the recording of loan disbursements.

Flexible repayment schedules accommodate weekly, biweekly, and monthly installments. Configurable interest, late-payment penalties, and payment allocation rules support the institution’s lending policies. Loan records show repayment obligations and outstanding balances, helping officers monitor accounts and follow up on upcoming payments.

Financial management features connect loan disbursements and operational expenses to designated accounts. Verified transactions update account balances, while capital injections provide a record of additional funding. Approval workflows give the CEO oversight of key transactions and operational decisions.

Role-based access supports administrators, the CEO, branch managers, and loan officers. The CEO can delegate selected staff management, commission, and performance review responsibilities to branch managers within their own branches. Notifications keep staff informed about pending approvals, decisions, and upcoming loan payments.

Reporting provides visibility into branch activity, lending performance, staff targets, and commissions. Audit trails preserve a history of system activity, while administrative tools support importing existing records and disabling staff accounts without deleting their transaction history.

By bringing lending and administrative workflows into one platform, the system helps Lendford reduce fragmented recordkeeping, improve accountability, and maintain clearer oversight of its clients, collateral, finances, and staff.
